Tutorial: How to use Google Colab Based9Based Roop (Google Colab Based9Based Roop Link: Click here)
Step 1: Run the first cell by Clicking on "[ ]" or the play button ▶️. It will take about 2 minutes to complete.
Then, it will show this error below.
You have to click on [Restart Runtime] then, click on "Yes". Wait for 10 sec.
Then Re-run the first Cell by clicking on "[ ]" or the play button ▶️. Now it will take 5-6 seconds to complete.
Step 2: Now Upload your files. Click on the Folder Icon and then click on the Upload Files Icon.
Then, chose the Image (.jpg) and Video (.mp4) Files.
1st File you will need is a ".jpg" file which will be the Photo that you want to deepfake into the video. (ONLY ONE PHOTO IS NEEDED).
2nd File you will need is the video (in .mp4 format) that you want that person's photo to be deepfaked into. (ONLY ONE VIDEO NEEDED).
REMEMBER: Longer and heavier files take more time to Deepfake and process.
Step 3: Run the Second Cell, "Download Model" by clicking on the "[ ]" or the play button ▶️.
It will take few seconds to complete and then it will show a Green Check Mark showing the process has been completed.
Step 4: Change the file names in the last "Deepfake" cell.
Change the file name "Vid1.mp4" to your own video file name with ".mp4" at the end and Change the Photo file name from "A.jpg" to your own Photo file name.
Step 5: Click on "[ ]" or the play button ▶️ to the final "Deepfake" cell.
Now, your Deepfake process will start and it will take time in Deepfaking the video and processing it. Be patient.
REMEMBER: Don't close the tap on close the screen. Keep the tab open and don't let the Laptop/Computer to go to sleep/power saving mode/screen. You can still use other tabs and other works in the Laptop/PC just make sure the Google Colab tab is still working and process is still going on.
This message will be shown after the process is done.
To download the Deepfaked final processed video. Click on the "Files" section and you will see the video file named "swapped.mp4" which will be the Deepfaked video.
Click on the Refresh Button (as you can see below) to refresh the Files page if the "Swapped.mp4" isn't showing.
